About Arku

Arku is an applicant tracking system made in Tauranga, New Zealand, by GHIJK Ltd for small teams that hire a few people a year and want to do it well.

Arku is made by GHIJK Ltd, a small software company in Tauranga, New Zealand. We build it for the teams that big recruitment software forgets: trades businesses, shops and studios, charities and churches. Teams that hire a handful of people a year, often with a manager who has a day job as well.

Why we built it

Most small teams hire with a job board, an inbox and a spreadsheet.

Applications get lost, candidates never hear back, and the people deciding are reading different versions of the same CV. The tools that fix this are priced per seat and built for recruitment agencies.

Arku keeps one simple pipeline for every job, lets the whole hiring panel score candidates without needing an account, and makes sure every applicant hears back. You pay per organisation, so inviting another interviewer never costs extra.

What we promise

  • People make hiring decisions. Arku never ranks, scores or rejects candidates automatically, and its AI features never read or summarise applications. AI drafts what you write. Your team reads every application.
  • Candidates are treated well. Applying works on a phone without a CV, consent is recorded, and candidate data is anonymised when you no longer need it.
  • Prices stay simple. A free plan for one job, two paid plans, local prices in NZD, AUD, GBP and USD, and a 30% discount for not-for-profits.
