This policy explains how billing changes work on Arku. Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, so refunds are paid back through Paddle to the original payment method.
Free plan
The Free plan costs nothing and has no time limit. You can stay on it for as long as you like.
Cancelling
An account owner can cancel a paid plan at any time from billing settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. Your jobs and candidates are kept, but features and limits from the Free plan apply.
Pausing
If you are not hiring for a while, you can pause your plan for a small monthly fee instead of cancelling. While paused, your data and settings are kept, no jobs are open and no messages are sent. Resuming restores your previous plan.
Changing plans
Plan changes take effect immediately and are prorated. When you upgrade, you pay the difference for the rest of the billing period straight away. When you downgrade, the unused part of your old plan is credited against your next bill.
Refunds
- If you are not happy, you can ask for a full refund of your first payment on a plan within 14 days of that payment.
- After that, we do not refund unused time when you cancel part way through a period.
- If Arku is unavailable for an extended time because of a fault on our side, or we charge you in error, we will refund or credit the affected amount.
- Text message charges for messages already sent are not refundable.
This does not affect any rights you have under the law of your country.
How to ask
Email hello@arkuhq.com from your account owner's email address with your organisation name and the payment you are asking about. We aim to reply within two working days. You can also
